Well im starting to understand why Ad loves this place. I arrived after a very very long overnight bus trip on Tuesday morning. Ad was waiting for me at the bus stop and looked like Ad but great. He said he'd lost weight but he looked so so slim and proved it later when he only spare boardies had to be rolled up and held up with his boxers! (dont worry mum ive taken pitty on him and im taking him out to get him some that fit, and dad yes i know im a soft touch but i havent seen him in a year and ive missed him)
When we got to the hostel and with in 20mins of meeting the guys in Ad's room Sarah had convinced me to go sky diving with her the following day. We had a nice day chilling out, Ad just loves the surf and couldnt wait to get out there. Really lovely day and he made us pancakes for tea as it was pancake day, how he remembers things like that i havent a clue. In the evening we all went out to a couple of bars in Bryon and it was so nice catching up. He said he hadnt realised me and Martin had split up etc until Alex had told him which was abit weird as i had told him about Gaz coming over..he said he hadnt put two and two together. The first thing he asked when i told him about Gaz was "oh can he get me a discount i want a new mambo tshirt as mine is falling apart!" Anyway it was so nice catching up and hearing stories (al, he said writting it down wont to the justice you'll have to come round when im home) and things which happend when Dave, Alex and Paul was up. A very very good evening and things dont change hes still very very protective of me and his female mates.
Yesterday was a waiting game. We were meant to dive at 10am but was delayed to 1pm and then 3pm due to bad weather. Me and Sarah ended up being the last dive of the day and finally got up there at 6pm. Yes by that stage i had totally freaked myself out and had a very very nervous smile. My guy Steve was really lovely tho and as it was valentines his last dive of the day his wife stacey was going to film for us. (She actually did Ad's film a couple of years ago) Anyway we got up there and i was the last one out of the plane and i dont think i have ever been so scared in all my life, that first bit when you are basically out of the plane before he lets go...very scary and then he lets go and wow...i smiled the whole time. Got to say the best bit for me though was when we were jus floating/flying above Bryon Bay, so beautiful and we just took our time coming down and chilled out up there. I smiled and giggled for hours later, best valentines ever! (ill try and sort out the pictures for everyone to see)
Anyway having a great time, planning on learning to surf...not sure about that though (the waves scare me) so we'll see what happens.
Love you

Family weekend in Avoca and Pictures
Hi Guys
We've just spent a gorgeous weekend up in Avoca with the whole family. It originally was just going to be me, Amy, Kath and Jim and slowly everyone else asked if it was alright for them to come up and im so glad they did. We ended up having a really lovely family weekend. We didnt do too much, just relaxed but it was so nice to just spend time with each other and just chill out. I hadnt seen John since i was over for the wedding in 2001 and it was really good catching up and seeing him and Kirsten as a Mummy and Daddy.
Anyway this is just a short message to say ive spent all morning putting pictures of my trip so far on photobox so if we fancy a look, the link is on the blog. Im heading up to Bryon Bay tonight to spend some time with Ad before he goes back to the UK and then ill be heading up to Surfers Paradise and Brisbane. Ive got 5 weeks until Gaz gets here so im going to see what the east coast has to offer, hopefully work on my tan!
Love you xxx
